My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

It is with great joy that we invite you to the 5th National Catholic Charismatic Congress on May 28-31, 2009 here in Cebu City, being organized by the National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Philippines.

By God’s grace, the Archdiocese of Cebu will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary as an Archdiocese on April 28, 2009. It is our special privilege to host this National Congress as we share with you the blessings that God is showering on us in this Year of Grace.

The Congress Theme “Spirit-Filled Communities Growing Together as the Body of Christ”, integrated with the Jubilee Theme of the Archdiocese of Cebu, is indeed most significant for all of us and for the Renewal all over the world.

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal, we know, has been a dynamic and effective instrument in the transformation of millions of individuals in our country. A National Congress like this will bring together many members and leaders from the different Local Churches to pray and share together, as well as to celebrate the Grace of Pentecost in our times.
