Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

On behalf of the National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Philippines, we wholeheartedly invite leaders and members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in all the Dioceses in the Philippines to come together as one Body of Christ to the 5th National Catholic Charismatic Congress in Cebu City on May 28-31, 2009.

This National Congress will be a great occasion for us to celebrate PENTECOST OF THE NATIONS simultaneously with Catholic Charismatic groups in many other countries of the world to beseech our Lord for a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday.

As one Body of Christ, we will spend precious time to pray together, to share and reflect together, to rejoice and celebrate together the Blessing of Pentecostal Renewal that we have experienced personally and communally in our lives. A Congress like this will surely boost our unity in the Spirit.

“I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace: one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:1-6).
